TANDEM IS BETTER

Tandem is Better was founded in the summer of 2018 as a way of uniting all their interests. Bikes and a love of cycling, visiting and discovering, taking photos and seeing the world from all its different perspectives, obviously on their bike as a couple. Tandem is Better is a project created to embrace all of Laura and Stefano’s passions and their desire to share the effort of a bike trip together. it is a journey all about ecology, an adventure of exploration into the world, a tribute to teamwork and freedom. Laura and Stefano’s travels relaunch the idea of slow tourism and mobility, sustainable and within everyone’s reach. By day they pedal and admire the beautiful sights of the countries they cycle through; when evening comes they eat, drink, and chat to the people they meet at the close of every stage. One of their most recent trips was “NuoviVenti”, a route that took in all 20 regions of an Italy still recovering from Covid. A whole month pedalling more than 3,000 kilometres the length and breadth of the Italian peninsula, rediscovering all the wonders of a totally sustainable mode of travel. And this sustainability is precisely the aspect shared by the Tandem is Better duo and A.S.98. A desire and a yearning to contribute personally to making the world a better place. With this collection, A.S.98 finally teams fashion and sustainability, prioritising a commitment to the environment, and introducing a series of alterations to its production process, while staying true to the A.S.98 brand signature design and style.
